Job summary

Jabil in Richardson, TX is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to lead process and product development for production programs from kickoff to contract closure. You will oversee assembly from kit to ship and coordinate with customers, engineers, quality, and technical experts.

You will review BOMs, drive engineering changes, and shape assembly methods and materials for current and future technologies. Strong collaboration across Quality, Reliability, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, and Operations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or related discipline.
8+ years of proven experience in Product Engineering, bringing products from concept to high‑volume production.

Responsibilities

Review BOMs and implement Engineering Change Orders with engineers and material for changes.
Define assembly methods, material selection, and process development for current and next-gen technologies with hands-on work.
Evaluate materials and processes, including qualification and new product introductions, coordinating with suppliers to resolve issues.
Interface with Quality, Reliability, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Manufacturing and Operations functions.
Support on‑call and on‑site production as needed.
