Job summary

Sauna by Wordware in San Francisco seeks a product-focused frontend lead to own the user interfaces, memory surfaces, and end-to-end experiences of Sauna. You’ll ship from a rough direction to a first version, iterate on feedback, and take ownership of interaction design, API routes, and migrations.

Stack includes TypeScript, React, TanStack, Zustand, TailwindCSS, IndexedDB, and Postgres (Neon). You’ll collaborate across teams, drive performance, and shape onboarding and billing experiences for

Qualifications

• Experience shipping complex web products and owning them post-launch.
• Ability to sketch interaction from rough direction and defend tradeoffs.
• Deep knowledge of React state management and component reuse.

Responsibilities

• Own Sauna product surface across web, app, and integrations.
• Ship first version from Slack thread or rough direction, then refine.
• Address interaction design, client architecture, API routes, and DB migrations.
• Ensure performance, loading states, and good UX across surfaces.
• Lead onboarding and billing experiences for new teams.
