Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology.
• 5 to 10 years related experience.
• Good math skills and familiarity with CAD software.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic measuring tools.
• Understanding of financial statements and analysis.
• PC literate with Power BI and ERP basics.
• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage large OEM relationships including pricing, quality reports, and engineering support.
• Identify product improvements and cost-out opportunities through evaluation of manufacturing practices.
• Perform root cause analysis on defective products using DOE and SPC.
• Lead product development projects and justify monetary resources and personnel to attain goals.
• Define product performance standards and acceptance criteria; provide technical expertise to close on final sale.
• Assist design and manufacturing in development of new or revised product per customer requirements.
• Provide timely reports summarizing findings on a product or customer.
• Develop knowledge of competitive products and market activity and report findings regularly.
