Job summary

Parker Hannifin’s Filtration Innovation Center seeks a Filter Media Engineer to advance media technologies and support material needs across Parker’s global filtration businesses. You will lead project-based assignments, evaluate media performance, and liaison with internal teams and external suppliers.

The role requires independent work, translating business needs into technical solutions, and communicating recommendations to diverse stakeholders. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in engineered materials, filtration, or product development.
• Experience in a chemical/materials lab is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead filter media application and innovation projects across Parker’s global filtration businesses.
• Define technical requirements and media characteristics based on performance, manufacturability, quality, and cost.
• Develop test plans, analyze results, and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
• Apply DOE and statistical methods to plan and evaluate experiments.
• Coordinate activities with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Support environmental, health, and safety initiatives.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
