Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer for its Analog business. You will own the full lifecycle of advanced linear and mixed-signal products from concept through high-volume manufacturing.

You will connect Design, Test, Applications, Quality, Operations, and business teams to drive product success. We value candidates with 5–7.5 years in semiconductor product engineering, strong analytical skills, and hands-on lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Physics, Materials Science, or related field; advanced degree welcome.
• 5–7.5 years in semiconductor product engineering or similar roles across test, validation, design support, manufacturing, quality, or operations.
• Solid understanding of analog/mixed-signal fundamentals and ability to learn new technologies.
• Ability to lead technical work, manage priorities, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation and root-cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment, testing, data analysis, and manufacturing support.
• Ability to read datasheets and design/qualification documentation; clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of advanced linear and mixed-signal products from concept to high-volume manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Design, Test, Applications, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Evaluate yields, reliability, failures, and customer returns to drive improvements and reduce risk.
• Support sustaining activities: yield improvement, cost reduction, and issue resolution.
• Communicate results, recommendations, and risks to teams and leadership.
• Manage projects with schedules, milestones, resources, and risk mitigation across teams.
• Validate products through testing, characterization, data analysis, and debugging.
• Identify process gaps, strengthen NPI practices, and share lessons across programs.
