Job summary

BiOrigin Specialty Products is seeking a Senior Product Development Manager—MG Paper to lead the technical and commercial development of new machine-glazed paper products through BiOrigin’s five-step stage-gate process.

This role will evaluate market opportunities, define product and manufacturing requirements, develop cost budgets and business cases, and support scale-up and launch to deliver profitable revenue growth and long-term value creation across MG paper, barrier, waxing, lamination

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in paper science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, business, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical and commercial development of new MG paper products through BiOrigin’s five-step stage-gate process.
Evaluate market opportunities, define product and manufacturing requirements, develop cost budgets and business cases, and support scale-up and launch.
Coordinate mill trials, laboratory testing, customer qualification, product validation, and corrective actions to ensure customer requirements are met.
Provide senior technical guidance during product scale-up, commercialization, and early production to reduce risk and accelerate time to market.
Track post-launch performance against business case assumptions and recommend actions to improve value realization.
