Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Product Designer for the Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) to design space planning tools and improve existing systems. You will work with UX Research, Product, Software, and Business partners to deliver customer-obsessed design specs across the end-to-end product lifecycle.

This high-visibility role requires strong customer-centric strategy, analytical skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of design experience.
• Have an available online portfolio.
• Experience with UX design of complex workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design leadership and cross-functional partners throughout the product development lifecycle, from problem definition through launch and iteration.
• Partner with designers, product managers, engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders to drive concepts from ideation to implementation.
• Dive deep into space-planning customers, workflows, and use cases to identify unmet needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
• Leverage customer research, usability findings, feedback, and quantitative data to inform and influence product requirements, priorities, and design decisions.
• Act as an active voice for customers, advocating for their needs while balancing business objectives, technical feasibility, and product constraints.
• Think big to simplify complex processes and translate ambiguous customer problems into intuitive, scalable design solutions.
• Take ownership of design outcomes by proactively identifying gaps, validating solutions, incorporating feedback, and iterating based on customer and business impact.
• Clearly articulate design rationale, communicate trade-offs, and build alignment across cross-functional partners.
