Job summary

Headway is seeking a Senior Product Designer for the Patient team to own the patient experience across Health Systems, EAP, and Payer Partnerships. You will shape products from concept to scale, presenting prototypes in partner meetings that influence multi-million-dollar relationships.

You’ll collaborate with a Staff PM, engineers, and cross-functional teams (Payer Relations, Health System BD, Ops). Our AI-first design approach uses Claude Code and Cursor to prototype and ship improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience designing consumer experiences within B2B2C or platform constraints.
• Ability to shape product strategy from customer insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale the referral-to-booking experiences for patients arriving through health system partners.
• Design experiences for employer EAP benefits, including onboarding flows and program redesigns.
• Create co-branded patient journeys for payer channels and improve provider directory discoverability.
• Run multi-sprint experiments to close the conversion gap between partnership-sourced and organic patients.
