Job summary

Instacart, a Flex First company, is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own Order Quality design end-to-end. You will work with multiple product managers and engineers to shape complex, high-visibility work affecting both consumer and shopper experiences.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, high-fidelity design in Figma, and collaboration across product, design, and engineering teams, with opportunities to apply AI tools to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years designing consumer-facing digital products across web and mobile.
• Ability to own work end-to-end from framing to delivery.
• Experience coordinating across multiple product and engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in Figma to produce high-fidelity flows and UI.
• Curiosity about AI tools to improve workflow and product outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own Order Quality design initiatives end-to-end across concurrent projects.
• Become the go-to domain expert for Order Quality and maintain continuity on existing work.
• Partner with 3+ product managers and engineering teams for strategic solutions.
• Balance high-level strategy with detailed design execution and handoff.
• Build cross-functional relationships across product, engineering, research and data.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and iteration.
