Job summary

Instacart is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the product data layer that determines how customers find what they need and how brands appear on shelf. You’ll set the end-to-end strategy for catalog attributes, govern processes, and drive accuracy and coverage at scale, partnering with ML, operations, and business teams.

• 5+ years of product management experience in catalog, data platforms, or ML/AI-adjacent products.
• Proven ability to set strategy, prioritize ruthlessly, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Demonstrated proficiency using data to drive decisions—defining KPIs and interpreting experiments.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for catalog attributes, aligning partners around outcomes and milestones.
• Translate complex problems into structured plans and drive execution from discovery to launch.
• Use data and customer insights to run experiments and design solutions balancing speed and accuracy.
• Build strong relationships across Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Operations, ML, Sales, Ads, Search, Legal, Brand, and Support.
• Establish governance rituals, dashboards, postmortems, and platform investments to scale attribute quality.
