Job summary

Tilt is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own complex financial product experiences across Cash Advance and Credit Cards, taking ideas from concept through launch with strong product thinking and exceptional UX craft. You’ll join a collaborative design team working with product managers and engineers to turn problems into polished experiences.

You’ll ship iteratively, run experiments with product and data partners, and contribute to our design system.

The Opportunity: Senior Product Designer

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who does their best work bringing ideas to life. You'll own complex, high-impact product experiences across market-leading areas from Cash Advance to Credit Cards, taking them from concept through launch and iteration. This is an individual contributor role for a designer who combines strong product thinking and UX fundamentals with exceptional visual and UI craft. You'll join a collaborative design team, building alongside our talented, tenured team of designers, product managers and engineers to turn product problems into polished, intuitive experiences. You love shipping, take pride in the details, and get energy from iterating, testing and seeing how customers respond.

How You'll Make an Impact

Own design for key initiatives from concept through launch, keeping a steady rhythm of shipping across new features, flow improvements and experiments. Translate complex financial concepts into clear, approachable experiences, with a high bar for interaction design, visual design and overall quality. Collaborate closely with our team of designers, combining their longer-range product thinking with your hands‑on craft to shape what we build. Design and run experiments with your product and data partners, from hypothesis through analysis, and use what you learn to shape what comes next. Iterate on critical user experiences based on metrics, research and customer feedback, treating launch as the start of the work, not the end. Partner with product and engineering to scope smartly, make thoughtful tradeoffs and bring people along on your decisions. Build with and contribute to our design system, and use AI tools to transform the way we deliver user impact.

Why You're a Great Fit

• Significant experience designing and shipping complex digital products, ideally in fintech, financial services, commerce or another multi-stakeholder environment.
• A portfolio showing strong UX thinking and polished visual and UI execution, including examples of iteration and the results your work drove.
• Strong interaction design fundamentals, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to keep quality high while moving with momentum.
• Hands‑on experience designing for A/B tests and experiments, and knowing how to structure variants to get clear, useful results.
• A strong grasp of product metrics like conversion, activation, engagement and retention, and a data-informed approach that blends quantitative and qualitative signals.
• You thrive in close collaboration, bring a strong point of view, and like building on others' ideas as much as sharing your own.
• Clear communication, and hands‑on use of AI tools in your day‑to‑day work.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing consumer financial products, including lending, banking, budgeting, payments, and more
• Experience contributing to or evolving a design system.
• Experience with analytics and experimentation tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Optimizely.

What Success Looks Like

• First 30 days: Get to know our customers, products and design system, build relationships with your partners, and ship your first work.
• First 90 days: Own design across a set of key initiatives, shipping on a regular rhythm and running your first experiments. Trusted member to EPD partners in the problem space.
• Over time: You're known for quality, momentum and measurable impact, and you play a key part in how the EPD team delivers on its biggest priorities.
