Job summary

Tilt Finance is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join Cashalo and help scale core technologies powering lending for millions of users. You’ll own features end-to-end, build robust backend services in .NET/C#, and contribute to Azure-based platform reliability.

This remote role with periodic travel 2–4 times per year offers global collaboration across APAC and a chance to influence product and engineering decisions, with equity and comprehensive benefits.

The Opportunity: Senior Backend Engineer, Cashalo

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the the team building Cashalo. You’ll play a key role in building and scaling the core technology that powers financial access for millions of Filipinos - working on product-facing features, platform reliability, and technical initiatives across our .NET and Azure stack.

This is a high-ownership IC role on a lean, globally connected team. You’ll work closely with product, credit, and engineering colleagues across APAC, with a global team to leverage when needed.

This is a 100% remote role that requires travel 2-4 times/year.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Why You’re a Great Fit

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in .NET (C#) building production-grade backend systems

• Strong fundamentals in designing and consuming REST APIs




• A product engineer mindset - you care about solving real user and business problems, not just writing clean code

• Experience in fintech or lending is a plus
