Unissant, Inc. seeks a Senior Product Designer to join a small, senior delivery team in Herndon, VA, supporting a DoD financial management training program. You will lead discovery, define workflows, and create wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in product design, UX, or related field.
Experience designing web-based applications, portals, dashboards, or enterprise systems.
Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications.
Experience with user research, usability testing, and design validation.
Proficiency with modern UX tools like Figma, Miro, FigJam, Adobe XD, Sketch.

Responsibilities

Conduct discovery sessions to understand processes, user needs, and future-state workflows.
Translate requirements into journeys, information architecture, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
Design clear experiences for data collection, workflow tracking, and reporting functions.
Collaborate with analysts and engineers to ensure feasible, aligned designs.
Perform usability reviews and document findings for iteration.
Apply accessibility and responsive design practices.
Prepare design specs and handoff materials for implementation and testing.
Support user acceptance testing and training materials.
