Job summary

Credit Genie is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own a product space end-to-end. You’ll join a small, senior design team and collaborate closely with PM, engineering, brand, and research leads, reporting to the Director of Product Design.

This is a role for someone who has already been the most senior designer in the room and wants influence where decisions matter. Responsibilities include shaping the product system, deconstructing ambiguous problems, and guiding design across multiple

Qualifications

• 6+ years designing consumer digital products.
• Portfolio showing craft and reasoning: problem, exploration, trade-offs, outcomes.
• Experience with design systems: building, evolving, or deprecating patterns.
• Range across visual, interaction, and content design; mobile-first expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own a product space end-to-end from discovery to post-launch iteration.
• Decompose ambiguity into a sequenced plan and align stakeholders.
• Set craft bar and justify design decisions in cross-functional settings.
• Shape the system and contribute to building a design system from scratch.
• Bring the right methodology for the problem—scrappy vs. thorough as needed.
• Influence the roadmap by tying design choices to business strategy.
• Be a trusted advisor across teams to align perspectives.
• Tell the story through crisp narratives for stakeholders and leadership.
• Mentor mid-level designers and model design standards.
• Improve rituals and processes to boost team effectiveness.
