Qualifications

• 7+ years of design experience.
• Available online portfolio.
• 5+ years of hands-on field research and testing across multiple methods.
• Experience delivering complex software systems to customers.
• Leadership in design, build and deployment of scalable software.
• Experience guiding architecture and design of systems.
• Bachelor's in Design, HCI, UX or related field.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and define UX strategy.
• Strong portfolio showing digital and physical touchpoints; understands physical context.
• Proficiency with AI design tools (Figma, Figma-Make, Kiro).

Responsibilities

• Design across digital-physical spectrum including workstation interfaces and physical cues.
• Define interaction models for safety, efficiency, and comfort for a diverse workforce.
• Design accessible workflows with multi-sensory feedback.
• Create scalable design patterns to amplify team impact across programs.
• Map end-to-end service journeys including ergonomics and transitions between digital and physical work.
• Lead UX research with field partners through on-site inquiries and observations.
• Collaborate with hardware/software teams to ensure coherence across touchpoints.
• Mentor junior designers and raise UX maturity.
• Contribute field-grounded insights to roadmap discussions.
• Synthesize data with field insights to inform design priorities.
