Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of experiences spanning digital and physical worlds for the fulfillment center floor. Qualifications

• 7+ years of design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Experience with field research, ethnography, and usability testing.
• Proven ability to design complex software and production deployments.
• Ability to contribute to architecture and design patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or UX or related field.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and defining UX strategy.
• Strong portfolio across digital interfaces and physical contexts.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Figma-Make, Kiro).

Responsibilities

• Lead design across digital-physical spectrum for diagnostics and workflows.
• Define interaction models for data-rich interfaces suitable for gloved hands.
• Incorporate senses (visual, auditory, haptic) into experiences.
• Create scalable design systems and patterns for multiple programs.
• Map end-to-end service journeys considering environment and tool-in-hand.
• Lead field UX research with technicians on the warehouse floor.
• Partner with hardware/software/product/industrial design and operations.
• Mentor junior designers and raise UX maturity.
• Advocate for end users in roadmap and prioritization.
• Synthesize quantitative data with field insights to inform design trade-offs.
• Produce artifacts influencing roadmaps and leadership decisions.
