Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Designer on the Developer Foundations team to shape end-to-end experiences for developers building on Coinbase.

You will own the Developer Portal and collaborate across product, engineering, and developer relations to turn complex workflows into clear, intuitive experiences. The role emphasizes design systems, research-driven decisions, and the integration of AI-powered features to improve adoption and efficiency at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience, including developer tools or docs.
• Ownership of end-to-end design for multi-surface products shipped to production.
• Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system with scalable thinking.
• Proficiency in Figma for design delivery, prototyping, and system management.
• Strong track record turning user research into design decisions.
• Ability to use generative AI with human oversight to improve workflow.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for the Developer Portal including docs, dashboards, onboarding, and tooling.
• Lead design system contributions for developer surfaces for consistency and scale.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Developer Relations to reduce friction in the journey.
• Run user research and usability testing with external developers to validate decisions.
• Shape AI-powered features in the Portal such as intelligent search and code generation.
• Maintain design specs, prototypes, and interaction patterns in Figma for engineering.
