Job summary

Profound is hiring a Product Designer to own core data visualization and content workflow tools. You will ship fast with high-quality craft, collaborating with PMs, engineers and data scientists to turn strategy into thoughtful solutions.

This on-site role in NYC, SF or Buenos Aires offers ownership over product design, cross-functional teamwork, and opportunities to shape Profound’s design language and systems while delivering impact for our users.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing digital products.
• Strong generalist able to own the full design stack.
• Craft-focused with emphasis on clarity and execution.
• Entrepreneurial and product-thinking mindset.
• Experience prototyping with AI/tools like Figma plugins.
• Collaborates with PMs, engineers, data scientists.
• Portfolio shows thoughtful problem-solving and high-quality design.
• Experience on data visualization or B2B marketing product.
• Prototyping directly in code and shipping to production (Git/GitHub).
• Blends design with product or engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Design core product experiences end to end from exploration to launch.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to translate strategy into solutions.
• Explore directions via sketches, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Fine-tune layout, typography, spacing, motion, and interactions.
• Balance user needs, constraints, and business goals with craft.
• Use feedback and insights to refine the product over time.
• Contribute to design language, systems and vision.
• Participate in design critiques and share feedback.
