Joby Aviation is seeking a Senior Product Designer to directly design the product software powering flight operations and pilot tooling.

You will lead design and development of core operational apps, including the flight operations scheduling portal, the pilot’s EFB, terminal logistics and ramp operations. Collaborate with PMs, engineering and flight operations to stand up scalable apps from ideation to release.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Design, HCI or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience across Web, iOS & Android.
• Proficiency with Sketch, Figma and the Adobe suite.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, GLM 5.2.
• Understanding of HTML & CSS.
• Basic understanding of what is feasible with design and layout scalability.

Responsabilités

• Design the Joby flight operations tooling and pilot resource management interfaces.
• Design the pilot, terminal and ramp applications.
• Optimize the UX of helicopter and future eVTOL operations.
• Collaborate with the flight test team to optimize scheduling and execution needs.
• Provide design guidance for internal product development.
• Efficiently use AI tools to maximize efficiency in the product development cycle.
