Job summary

You will design user experiences for Garmin Pilot and Pilotweb.garmin.com, guiding wireframes through launch and collaborating with diverse departments. You will own the end-to-end design process from concept to pixels, mentor less experienced designers, and stay current with design trends to promote

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interactive Design, Human Factors, Visual Design or equivalent with 5 years relevant work experience OR 9 years combined experience.
• Excellent academics with GPA guideline of 3.0 or higher.
• Proficient in UX software such as Figma and Sketch, plus interactive prototyping tools.
• Proven track record leading design direction for multiple projects with timely delivery.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design direction for multiple projects and plan for timely completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to visualize feature vision.
• Research and apply best practices in user experience for key features.
• Mentor junior designers and share expertise on UX.
• Communicate status and present designs to partners and clients.
