Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Design Technologist III to join the Events Technology & Marketer Experience team. You will translate ambitious product visions into polished front-end experiences for the AWS Events Mobile App and AI features, delivering cross-platform experiences at scale for hundreds of thousands of attendees.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of front-end technologist, engineer, or UX prototyper experience.
• Have coding samples in front end programming languages.
• Have an available online portfolio.
• Experience developing visually polished, engaging, and highly fluid UX prototypes.
• Experience collaborating with UX, Product, and technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop front-end features for the AWS Events Mobile App (React Native) for iOS and Android.
• Translate UX wireframes and mockups into responsive, accessible front-end components.
• Prototype new app concepts and validate ideas through user testing.
• Own and evolve the mobile design system for consistency across screens and releases.
• Design front-end UI for Concierge AI assistant with multi-modal interactions.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate AI responses into the client layer.
• Move from sketch to working prototype within days in a startup-speed environment.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to ensure end-to-end delivery.
• Advocate for design quality in code reviews and front-end best practices.
