Job summary

Hungryroot is seeking a Senior Product Designer to elevate our digital experience for customers across web and iOS. You’ll shape the design strategy from ideation to launch, collaborating with product, engineers, researchers, and analytics to deliver cohesive experiences that feel personal and sustainable.

You will prototype with motion, apply AI tools for rapid exploration, and contribute to a scalable design system, while partnering with stakeholders to measure impact and iterate.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years designing digital products across responsive web and native mobile, with strong hands-on iOS experience and familiarity with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
• Exceptional UX, interaction, and visual design skills with information architecture, usability, accessibility, and modern design patterns.
• Strong motion and interaction design experience, including animation, microinteractions, and high-fidelity prototyping using tools like Figma, Lottielab, Jitter, or ProtoPie.
• Advanced Figma proficiency including prototyping, component-based design, and design systems.
• Strong product thinking to translate insights into thoughtful solutions with research, usability testing, and experimentation.
• Experience using AI tools like Claude or Cursor for design exploration and rapid prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end experiences: Lead the design of complex experiences across web and native iOS, from problem definition and discovery through prototyping, launch, and iteration.
• Start with the customer and the right problem: Use research, feedback, and data to define what’s worth solving within constraints.
• Deliver exceptional craft: Create intuitive experiences with strong interaction design, IA, and accessibility.
• Prototype with motion and AI: Build high-fidelity, interactive prototypes using tools like Lottielab, Jitter, ProtoPie, and AI tools.
• Design for cohesion and scale: Maintain consistency across the customer journey and contribute to the design system.
• Drive measurable impact with partners: Define success with cross-functional teams and iterate based on data.
• Raise the bar for the team: Participate in critiques and share knowledge.
