Job summary

Avantos AI is building an AI-native operating system for financial services, focusing on onboarding, advisory delivery, and servicing workflows. We seek a Senior Product Designer who can own both the mobile app and the Journey Builder end-to-end, working across surfaces with a strong native mobile depth and a penchant for AI-enabled design.

You will prototype in code, contribute to our design system, and collaborate with engineers to shape fast-moving product experiences for financial advisors.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product design with real native mobile depth (iOS/Android) in a product environment.
• Strong generalist able to own two adjacent surfaces (mobile and web) and switch contexts.
• Solid knowledge of iOS Human Interface Guidelines or Material Design with good judgment on when to adapt.

Responsibilities

• Own Avantos Mobile App end-to-end, collaborating with mobile engineers on native patterns.
• Own Journey Builder end-to-end, shaping flow logic and step orchestration for advisors.
• Decide parity vs divergence between mobile and web experiences, sharing patterns when appropriate.
• Contribute mobile-specific And journey patterns to design system with Principal Designer.
• Conduct lightweight user research as part of the design process.
• Help shape culture, craft, and rituals of a growing design team.
