Job summary

Avantos AI is building the industry’s first AI-native operating system for financial services, transforming onboarding, advice, and servicing workflows. We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong backend and applied AI experience to productize and scale our intelligence platform while connecting its capabilities to the product.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience shipping and owning production software at scale.
• Hands-on applied generative AI engineering experience.
• Strong backend engineering and API design skills in TypeScript or another transferable language.
• Full-stack capability to build and maintain modern web interfaces.
• Sound system design judgment across scalability, reliability, performance, and engineering tradeoffs.
• High autonomy and accountability with clear communication in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and productize reusable AI platform capabilities for other engineering teams.
• Own backend services, APIs, and integrations, primarily in TypeScript with Go where needed.
• Deliver full-stack features connecting AI capabilities to React/Next.js product experiences.
• Improve scalability, reliability, and performance through architecture, testing, troubleshooting, and on-call participation after ramping.
• Use coding agents to accelerate delivery while maintaining ownership of planning, code quality, review, and validation.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and design; communicate proactively, share ownership, and commit to team decisions.
