Job summary

Frontline Education is seeking a Product Manager to own a product area, crafting a compelling vision and a multi-quarter plan that delivers measurable outcomes. You will align Design, Engineering, and GTM teams, lead discovery, validate ideas, and drive data-informed decisions to maximize value for K-12 educators and administrators.

You will partner with stakeholders to balance priorities, write clear user stories, and maintain a prioritized backlog.

Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Proven success leading empowered, cross-functional teams through discovery and delivery.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; able to connect user needs with business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with design and engineering partners to create scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence across levels and functions.
  • Familiarity with agile development, experimentation, and continuous discovery practices.
  • A customer-obsessed mindset, driven by empathy, insight, and measurable results.
  • AI experience is a plus; AI curiosity is a must — a passion for learning and applying emerging technologies to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Define a clear, compelling product vision and strategy aligned with company goals and customer needs.
  • Develop multi-quarter product plans grounded in outcomes, not outputs — focusing on value creation, adoption, and business impact.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment on priorities, trade-offs, and success metrics.
  • Lead continuous discovery to deeply understand customer pain points, jobs-to-be-done, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering from the earliest stages to validate desirability, feasibility, and viability.
  • Test hypotheses and de-risk investments through experimentation, prototypes, and customer feedback loops.
  • Use data and evidence to inform prioritization and refine product direction.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design to plan, build, and ship solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Write and prioritize well-crafted user stories and acceptance criteria that connect back to validated problems.
  • Ensure the product backlog reflects clear priorities, dependencies, and value-based trade-offs.
  • Facilitate agile rituals that balance short-term iteration with long-term strategic outcomes.
  • Operate as a servant leader — empowering teams through context, not control.
  • Build strong relationships across Product, Design, Engineering, and GTM teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Communicate clearly and credibly with internal and external stakeholders, representing the product vision & strategy with clarity and conviction.
  • Foster a learning culture through retrospectives, experimentation, and cross-team knowledge sharing.
