Job summary

Owner is hiring Senior, Staff, and Principal level Designers for remote roles across the US and Canada. You will shape product direction with engineering leaders, own end-to-end design across the customer journey, including AI-powered features, and contribute to scalable design systems.

The team emphasizes craft, urgency, and holistic thinking about systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience and proven track record in cross-functional projects.
• Strong product and visual design fundamentals with attention to detail.
• Comfort collaborating with engineers and prototyping in code (PRs).
• Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.

We’re looking for Senior Designers who care deeply about craft, move with urgency, and think holistically about systems, not just screens. You’ll work at the intersection of product strategy, emerging technology, and real-world constraints, turning powerful AI-driven capabilities into experiences that feel intuitive, trustworthy, and genuinely useful.

These roles are remote and can be based anywhere in the US or Canada. For SF-based candidates: we have a beautiful office in the Presidio for optional in-person collaboration opportunities.

What you’ll do

• Shape product direction by partnering closely with engineering, product, and leadership

• Own design work end-to-end, from early exploration and prototyping through build and production

• Design thoughtful, scalable experiences across the entire customer journey, including AI-powered features

• Contribute to and advance our design systems, patterns, and quality barAdvocate for clarity, simplicity, and usability as products move from idea to reality

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of product design experience, with a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects

• Strong product and visual design fundamentals, with a sharp eye for detail

• Comfort collaborating closely with engineers, prototyping your ideas in code, and even submitting PRs

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make progress in a fast-moving environment

• Curiosity and confidence designing with new technologies, including AI

• Clear communication, strong ownership, and collaborative instinctsA genuine care for users, craft, and real-world impact

Compensation and Benefits

• The estimated base salary range for this role is $190K-$270K, depending on experience and location. The offer also includes a a generous pre-IPO equity package.

• We are hiring across Senior, Staff, and Principa l levels in 2026. While a base salary range is listed, final compensation and leveling are determined holistically based on experience, impact, and role scope. Total compensation includes base salary, equity, and benefits.
