Raydar is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end design for a core product area, transforming data-dense financial workflows into clear, trustworthy experiences.

You will lead discovery, design multi-step automation, and craft AI-native interfaces, while maintaining a scalable design system and collaborating with product and engineering.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on product design experience with end-to-end ownership.
• Startup or small-team experience shipping real products.
• Portfolio with 2–3 detailed case studies showing high-craft design in B2B workflows.
• Deep Figma proficiency with components, variables, variants and auto-layout.
• Active involvement in code or development-environment prototyping and AI-assisted design.
• US residence with availability across US time zones and for client travel.

About the company

Our client is an AI-native mortgage software company whose platform has powered more than $85B in home loans. It is building toward fully automated loan origination, helping lenders simplify complex workflows and improve quality. Design is a core product function, with direct access to customer discovery and close collaboration with Product and Engineering.

The role

As Senior Product Designer, you will own design end to end for a core product area, turning data-dense, high-stakes financial workflows into clear, trustworthy experiences.

What you’ll do

• Own discovery, interaction design, high-fidelity Figma work and delivery for a core product area.
• Lead customer discovery and usability sessions, translating findings into product decisions.
• Design multi-step automation workflows, dense tables and high-stakes decision screens.
• Build AI-native experiences, including uncertainty states, streaming content, user intervention and graceful error handling.
• Maintain Figma components and design-system assets as the product grows.
• Work in or alongside code through prototyping, AI-assisted development or contributions to the codebase.

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years of hands-on product design experience, with end-to-end ownership of complex SaaS products.
• Startup or small-team experience shipping real products, alongside experience collaborating within established product design teams.
• A portfolio with at least 2-3 detailed case studies showing high-craft visual and interaction design, clear problems, process, shipped outcomes and measurable impact in B2B workflows.
• Deep Figma proficiency in components, variables, variants, auto-layout, prototyping and library hygiene.
• Active involvement in code or development-environment prototyping, plus enthusiasm for AI-assisted design and development.
• A formal degree and US residence, with availability across US time zones and for domestic client travel.

Bonus points

• Founding designer or design-lead experience at an early-stage company.
• Fintech, lending, regulated-industry or document-heavy workflow experience.
• Experience with agentic flows, automation and probabilistic or streaming AI interfaces.

Compensation and benefits

• $170,000-$250,000 annual base salary.
• No equity is listed for this role.
• 100% of medical premiums covered for employees and their families, plus vision and dental coverage.

Location and work model

Fully remote within the United States, working US time zones. Domestic travel to client sites is required. No relocation support. Visa transfers, including OPT and H1B transfers, are supported; new sponsorship is not offered.
