Job summary

Taboola is seeking a Product Design Team Lead for the News team in Tel Aviv. You will own the end-to-end user experience, leading a design team behind Taboola News, a consumer content-discovery platform pre-installed on devices via OEMs and carriers.

You’ll guide UX strategy for a modular, mobile experience, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and OEM partners to drive design decisions with business impact.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2C mobile or consumer products.
• 3+ years of leading, mentoring and growing a design team.
• Proven experience with user research, funnels, journeys, using insights to drive UX decisions.
• Deep experience building and scaling design systems across multi-device/white-label contexts.
• Proven ability to leverage AI to multiply output and impact and scale a design system.
• Comfort presenting UX strategy to executives and influencing product direction.
• Bachelor’s degree in design and high level English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• 50% Design leadership: lead and grow the design team, align UX needs with PMs, advocate for users, set priorities.
• 50% Hands-on product design: define/build design system, turn insights into decisions, design core flows end-to-end.
• Shape product vision and strategic planning across Taboola News to drive engagement and retention.
