Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in Product Designer roles at senior/lead level in fast-paced environments.
• Strong portfolio showing strategic and executional work in consumer-facing tech, fintech, or platform products.
• Ability to defend strategic design decisions and influence roadmap at leadership level.
• Well-articulated point of view on design quality, backed by research, data, and experience.
• Proven experience mentoring, guiding, or informal leadership of other designers.
• Craft user-friendly, high-polish experiences with strong IA, visuals and cognitive load.
• Comfort operating with ambiguity and bringing structure to 0-to-1 problems.
• Autonomously ship features from 0 to 1 while maintaining system coherence.
• Strong stakeholder management with executives, PMs, and engineering leads.

Responsibilities

• Lead design vision, execution and strategy across all user-facing surfaces.
• Own end-to-end experience and vision for a new desktop web app (rebranded components, UX upgrades).
• Set the design direction in partnership with brand and marketing for new pages (IA, UX upgrades).
• Define rituals, review processes, and culture to increase velocity and quality of the design team.
• Be the standard-bearer for mindful, high-craft collaboration and mentorship.
• Partner with product and leadership to define design's role in company strategy and roadmap.
• Be a recognized voice on design quality and systems thinking within the org.
• Coach other designers, provide critique, and help them grow their judgment.
• Lead the definition of new components and redesigned app experience across Mobile.
• Own and guide a new design system post-rebrand and governance.
