Job summary

Nulite Lighting is a Denver-based manufacturer of high-performance architectural lighting solutions. We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead new product design, prototype, update BOMs, and improve components.

This role focuses on mechanical and electronic design for lighting products and requires collaboration across teams. The engineer will contribute to cost justifications, support DFMA, maintain documentation, and help drive the product roadmap, while ensuring safety and quality

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree or related field; 5+ years experience.
• Experience with lighting systems, extrusions, sheet metal, optics, and thermal management.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and 3D CAD; knowledge of PLM/PDM processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete tasks and project schedules.
• Redesign products and develop manufacturing support equipment.
• Document processes and BOMs; implement cost-saving measures.
• Ensure safety, quality objectives, and adherence to standards.
