Job summary

Nulite Lighting, LLC in Denver is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead new product design for architectural lighting. The role covers mechanical and electronic design, BOM updates, prototyping, testing, and documentation to drive quality and efficiency.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop processes, ensure safety and quality compliance, and contribute to the product roadmap. The position is full-time, on-site, with a benefits package and a salary range of

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent with 2+ years related experience
• Experience with SolidWorks and 3D CAD tools
• Exposure to lighting systems, extrusions, sheet metal design, optics and thermal management
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including die casting, extrusion, stamping and injection molding
• Familiarity with lighting simulation tools (e.g., AGi32, DIALux) is a plus
• Experience with managing engineering documentation and workflows in a PDM/PLM environment

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete tasks and project schedules
• Redesign products for cost savings, DFMA and ease of installation
• Prototype and test for existing products
• Develop and document new processes including drawings and BOMs
• Support continuous improvement efforts on engineering processes and safety/quality systems
