X, The Moonshot Factory seeks a senior product design engineer to shape AI-driven UX for the energy space. You will lead end-to-end design from strategy to production, prototype in React, and contribute to a robust design system within a multidisciplinary team.

You will collaborate with product, software engineers, and ML experts to create enterprise-grade, scalable experiences that empower stakeholders and transform the energy ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product design experience with shipped products at scale.
• Strong execution across interaction and visual design with high craft.
• Experience leading complex, ambiguous product areas and influencing direction.
• Experience in enterprise and startup environments with rapid delivery.
• Strong React prototyping skills and fluency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience contributing to production code and collaborating with engineers.
• Experience building and evolving a production design system.
• Comfort with abstraction, systems thinking, and complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Set design direction for complex product areas, turning needs into simple AI-driven solutions.
• Lead end-to-end design from strategy through execution with high interaction/visual quality.
• Prototype directly in React to validate ideas and accelerate production.
• Partner with product, engineering, and domain experts to shape direction.
• Champion user-centered design practices and raise design quality across teams.
• Build and evolve a scalable production design system for the product suite.
