X, The Moonshot Factory seeks a Staff Frontend Engineer to define the architectural vision for visualizing and interacting with the future of the electric grid. You will lead the technical roadmap for our web platforms, bridging complex power-system AI with intuitive, high-performance UX enabling global leaders to make trillion-dollar decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of frontend or fullstack engineering experience leading technical vision for large-scale platforms.
• Experience building enterprise apps leveraging LLMs, agentic frameworks, or predictive ML models.
• Knowledge of next-generation interaction patterns and generative UIs that adapt to user goals in real time.
• Mastery of TypeScript and modern frameworks (React/Angular).
• Ability to design for Human-in-the-loop with AI-assisted interfaces.
• Ability to distill complex problems into intuitive workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of a highly performant frontend architecture capable of visualizing massive real-time geospatial and time-series data.
• Define best practices for state management, testing, and component-driven development.
• Architect agentic workflows and ML-powered interfaces for proactive decision support.
• Translate complex algorithmic outputs into AI-assisted experiences for users.
• Influence multi-year product roadmaps and identify technical risks and opportunities.
• Optimize the rendering path for high-stakes environments using WebGL or Canvas.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and fostering craftsmanship.
