Job summary

Sonepar Management Group (SMG) is seeking a Product File Specialist to drive the accuracy and governance of product master data across ERP systems for Sonepar operating companies in the US.

The role partners with Purchasing, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Digital teams to ensure high-quality data for sales, procurement, and digital commerce initiatives. You will mentor teammates and support enterprise data standards while enabling digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in wholesale electrical distribution, industrial distribution, supply chain, product data management, or related field.
• Experience with ERP systems, PIM platforms, and/or B2B/B2C eCommerce.
• Ability to analyze and improve large-scale product data sets with high accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple business functions to support operational and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of product master data across ERP platforms and related systems.
• Analyze and optimize product records, attributes, pricing, supplier information, and classifications.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Pricing teams to ensure timely, accurate product information for sales growth and procurement.
• Conduct data quality audits and resolve discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
• Support product lifecycle activities including new product introductions and supplier changes.
