The Product File Specialistis a key member of Sonepar’s Product Data Management organization, reporting directly to the Regional Product File Manager. This role is responsible for driving the accuracy, integrity, governance, and consistency of product master data across assigned Sonepar Operating Companies (OpCos). The position oversees the maintenance of product attributes, supplier-published pricing updates, product classifications, and item-level data within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to ensure reliable, high-quality product information across the organization.
As a subject matter expert in product data management, the Product File Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining alignment between internal product records and supplier/manufacturer data sources, including direct manufacturer feeds and third-party content providers such as IDEA/IDW, Trade Service, and Distributor Data Services (DDS). The position also serves as a technical resource and mentor to Product File Specialists while partnering closely with Sonepar’s Master Data Management (MDM), Purchasing, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Digital Commerce teams to support operational excellence, digital transformation, and enterprise data governance initiatives.
