Job summary

Apollo.io in the United States is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to shape product strategy through data, optimize existing products, and support early-stage initiatives. You will work with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes building reliable analytics infrastructure, funnel and cohort analyses, and translating complex data into actionable insights that improve user experience and product outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
• Extensive experience with cohorting, time series, and funnel analysis.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL, A/B testing, machine learning, statistical analysis, and tools like R, Python, SAS.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into data analysis and actionable product insights.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to answer key questions.
• Develop and maintain a scalable analytics infrastructure to support product decisions.
• Establish best practices for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Deliver insights and recommendations to land tangible product impact.
• Support 0 to 1 product launches by analyzing early-stage product data when applicable.
