Let’s face it, a company whose mission is human transformation better have some fresh thinking about the employer/employee relationship.

We do. We can’t cram it all in here, but you’ll start noticing it from the first interview.

Even our candidate experience is different. And when you get an offer from us (and accept it), you get way more than a paycheck. You get a personal BetterUp Coach, a development plan, a trained and coached manager, the most amazing team you’ve ever met (yes, each with their own personal BetterUp Coach), and most importantly, work that matters.

As a key analytics partner to Network Operations and the Coach Platform squad, you’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to develop measurement strategies, build intuitive reporting, and surface insights that drive business decisions. You’ll also apply cutting-edge AI techniques, including text and sentiment analysis, LLM-powered insights, and automation, to drive improvements to the coach experience and customer outcomes..

You’ll Thrive In This Role If You

  • Are naturally curious and proactive, diving deep into data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities before others even ask the question.
  • Are passionate about Generative AI, excited to experiment with LLMs, NLP, and unstructured data to extract deeper insights and drive automation.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, where collaboration, ownership, and adaptability are key to success.

If you’re excited about leveraging data and AI to drive strategy, shape the future of coaching, and create meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

  • Work with our Network Operations and Coach Platform squad to develop the measurement strategy, data, and visualizations to forecast network supply and demand, and measure the health of our coach matching algorithms
  • Partner closely with engineering and product, providing guidance on instrumentation design for new features and creating new datasets that delight our business users and help optimize our Coach Experience and Tooling.
  • Own the Coach and Network-related Explores and dashboards in Looker, ensuring the continued accuracy of the data and building new dimensions/measures as they are needed.
  • Partner with the NetOps team to identify internal KPIs, build standardized reporting to monitor NetOps ecosystem health, and contribute to business reviews.
  • Conduct data deep dives to better understand drivers of business performance and proactively identify new areas of opportunity and risk. Present results and recommendations to cross-functional partners and the Executive Team.
  • Evangelize the strategic use of analytics, educating business partners on how to self serve and interpret data, and working with them to translate insights into action.
  • Play an integral role in helping define the analytics function at BetterUp.
  • Report to the Director of Product Analytics

If you have some or all of the following, please apply:

  • 5+ years of experience building custom reporting, insights, and analytics products; experience with Customer Analytics Platforms, Operations / Optimization, preferred
