Job summary

DocuSign, Inc. seeks an experienced Product Lawyer to own the regulatory thesis for regulated verticals and advise product, engineering, and product legal teams. You will define defensible records, govern compliance depth, and ensure regulatory alignment across design and roadmaps.

This is an individual contributor role with real ownership and influence over what gets built. You will collaborate with commercial legal, privacy, and AI governance to address routine compliance questions and ensure

Qualifications

Advising product and engineering teams in regulated tech environments.
Translating regulatory requirements into product/engineering specs.
Experience in health/Life Sciences, financial services, or payments.

Responsibilities

Own the vertical regulatory thesis for Real Estate, Health & Life Sciences, and Financial Services.
Define regulatory defensibility for agreement records at design/roadmap stage.
Serve as subject matter expert for Product legal and defend regulatory depth.
Build knowledge bases and interpretation guidance on recurring regulatory questions.
Assess feasibility of commitments and define compensating controls when needed.
Collaborate with commercial legal, privacy, and AI governance on customer deals.
