Job summary

DocuSign, Inc. is seeking an experienced product lawyer to own the regulatory thesis for regulated verticals and serve as the expert for Product, Engineering, and Product legal when a vertical regulation drives a launch.

You will define defensibility for Real Estate, Health & Life Sciences, and Financial Services, translating requirements into design and roadmap decisions, and you will be the depth the team relies on for regulatory expertise.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 8+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience.
• Experience advising product and engineering teams in regulated tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the verticals thesis and requirements for regulatory defensibility.
• Translate regulatory needs into product and engineering requirements at design/roadmap stages.
• Be the subject matter expert for Product legal and vertical depth behind them.
• Collaborate with commercial legal, privacy, and AI governance on customer deals.
