Job summary

Grindr is seeking an exceptional Product Legal expert to partner with Product Development, Engineering, Design, and Trust & Safety. You will shape product strategy from the start, translating complex requirements into clear product choices while enabling rapid, responsible progress.

You will advise on AI-enabled features, data privacy, consent, and user controls, and collaborate with the Privacy team to align disclosures with business needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in-house product counseling for consumer internet.
• Excellent judgment to translate complex legal requirements into actionable product guidance.
• Proven ability to partner with product, engineering, design and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary day-to-day legal partner to Product Development teams across the full product lifecycle.
• Advise on AI-enabled features including personalization, payments, and growth initiatives.
• Develop clear, user-centered disclosure, consent, education, and choice strategies.
