Grindr seeks an exceptional Product Legal expert to serve as a strategic partner to product, engineering, design, and trust and safety teams throughout the full product lifecycle. You will shape product strategy from the outset, translate complex legal requirements into clear product choices, and help Grindr move quickly and responsibly through ambiguity. J.D.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of product legal experience, including significant in-house work.
• Strong cross-functional instincts to partner with product leaders, engineers, designers, and executives.
• Ability to create clarity and scalable processes in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Experience advising on AI, privacy, and consumer technology considerations.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary day-to-day legal partner to Product Development teams across the full product lifecycle.
• Advise on AI-enabled product features and experiences including personalization, location-based products, subscriptions, and payments.
• Help product teams develop user-centered disclosure, consent, education, and choice approaches.
• Build scalable legal tools, playbooks, review processes, and decision frameworks to involve Legal early.
• Counsel executives and Board on AI regulation, online safety, age assurance, consumer protection, and platform regulation across key markets.
