Job summary

OCR Alpha is seeking a Vice President for the Middle Office Product Control team in Connecticut. You will own daily P&L end-to-end, resolve issues in real time, and shape how the function evolves.

It’s a hands-on role with real influence near the trading desk, driving both process and technology improvements. You’ll help roll out new systems, build reporting and dashboards for the front office, and partner with the Global Head on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in Product Control, Middle Office or Operations within a hedge fund.
• Strong knowledge of product valuations across FX and derivatives.
• Experience supporting PMs/traders directly, ideally having sat on a desk.
• Exposure to system implementations or process improvement projects (Orchestrade and/or Geneva a plus).
• Strong Excel skills; SQL, VBA or Python a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem solving mindset.

Responsibilities

They’re hiring a Vice President to join their Middle Office Product Control team in Connecticut. You’ll be the trusted point of contact for portfolio managers, owning daily P&L from end to end, resolving issues in real time and shaping how the function evolves. It’s a hands on role with real influence: you’ll help drive the rollout of new systems, build reporting and dashboards for the front office, and work directly with the Global Head on strategic initiatives.

This is a great opportunity for a seasoned Product Controller who wants to sit close to the trading desk and have a visible impact on both the process and the technology.

Requirements:

• 7+ years’ experience in Product Control, Middle Office or Operations within a hedge fund
