Job summary

Gen is seeking a Corporate Counsel, Product & Commercial to partner with product, engineering, UX, marketing and sales teams, shaping how our consumer and technology products are designed and brought to market. You will provide practical, business‑oriented legal advice across the lifecycle – from ideation to go‑to‑market and ongoing customer experiences.

You will also support complex commercial transactions and strategic partnerships, negotiate contracts, manage risk, and help scale AI‑driven

Qualifications

Licensed to practice law in at least one US state.
3–6 years of relevant legal experience in tech products or commercial transactions.
Experience negotiating commercial and sales contracts with cross-functional partners.
Strong ability to translate legal concepts into actionable business guidance.

Responsibilities

Provide product counseling and go-to-market legal support for product teams.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements across channels.
Lead risk management efforts and align with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Privacy, Brand, Marketing, IP and Sales for coordinated guidance.
Drive AI-enabled improvements to contract workflows and templates.
