PURE Insurance in Chicago is seeking a State Management Senior Product Analyst to join the Product Management team. This role focuses on implementing state-specific rate changes and strategic market initiatives for high-net-worth P&C products.

You will analyze data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior analysts while engaging with insurance departments and legislators to secure approvals and drive sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field with relevant, analytical experience.
• 2–3 years of analytical experience in insurance or related field.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to organize and transform large datasets for analytical exercises.
• Good oral and written communication; able to present to groups.

Responsibilities

• Implement countywide strategies in designated markets and develop state-specific changes.
• Execute end-to-end state rate changes from analysis through filing submission and system implementation.
• Set goals for state rate reviews with top-line and competitive metrics.
• Conduct original analysis to uncover trends in PURE’s portfolio and the market.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide timely insights to field partners.
• Understand market dynamics and support changes to offerings and processes.
• Create concise proposals with recommendations to stakeholders.
• Cultivate relationships with insurance departments and legislators for approvals.
• Develop a network across departments to support business objectives.
• Mentor and support junior analysts.
