Our client is seeking a Senior Insurance Product Analyst to advance strategic initiatives across its small commercial insurance business. Working within a lean, experienced team, this individual will connect insurance product development, underwriting, portfolio analysis, and technology implementation. You will independently move complex projects forward while collaborating with stakeholders across Insurance, Data, Technology, Operations, and Revenue.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional insurance initiatives from initial definition through implementation, developing project plans, coordinating contributors, managing dependencies, and maintaining momentum through completion.
• Support the development and ongoing management of small commercial insurance products, including coverage, appetite, underwriting rules, regulatory filings, and technology implementation.
• Analyze portfolio performance and underwriting outcomes, partnering with data and insurance stakeholders to identify missing rules, data needs, process improvements, and opportunities to strengthen risk selection.

Qualifications

• Experience with small commercial insurance products, such as businessowners policies, general liability, commercial package, or related commercial coverages in a property & casualty (P&C) insurer / insurance environment
• Demonstrated experience in insurance product development or regulatory filings, with an understanding of how rates, rules, forms, and underwriting intent translate into an operational product.
• Underwriting, portfolio-management, or insurance analytics experience, combined with the ability to independently lead hands-on projects and influence stakeholders across functions.
