Job summary

Safepoint Insurance is seeking a Senior Commercial Product Development Analyst to lead the design, development, and rollout of insurance products across multiple states. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure fast time-to-market and adherence to regulatory requirements in Commercial Lines.

The role requires deep P&C knowledge, state filing experience, and strong analytical skills to identify gaps, improve processes, and drive product launches in collaboration with marketing,

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of P&C insurance experience in Commercial Lines.
• Proficient knowledge of ISO Commercial Lines manuals and rating algorithms.
• Proficient knowledge of ISO forms and coverages.
• Knowledge of property and casualty insurance concepts.
• Experience with state Departments of Insurance preferred.
• CPCU or similar designation preferred.
• Proficiency in multi-state product filing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical skills.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Review and compare quality programs in Personal and Commercial lines for competitiveness.
• Identify product gaps and generate ideas to grow market share.
• Develop filing manuals and forms; file using SERFF/IFile and shepherd filings.
• Assist with rate filings alongside management and actuaries.
• Work with teams to deliver products to market quickly.
• Drive product launches with marketing, underwriting, and customer service.
• Research state laws and amend forms for compliance.
• Maintain relationships with external vendors and legislators.
• Maintain insurance rates and premium calculations.
• Engage in business process improvements and metrics collection.
• Conduct root cause analyses to propose enhancements.
• Complete ad‑hoc analytic projects as assigned.
