The role emphasizes negotiation, ERP proficiency, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and project teams. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in manufacturing procurement, strong vendor networks, and a proven track record in controlling costs while ensuring on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Impeccable negotiation and problem-solving skills desired.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building required.
• Maintain high ethical/professional standards of performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawing/blueprints/tech data to determine supply needs
• Create/Transcribe Bill of Materials (BoM)
• Consolidate BoMs from multiple sources
• Negotiate terms with suppliers
• Liaise with suppliers and project managers regarding updates
• Create purchase requests and tally with supply requests
• Analyze invoices and shipping documents for accuracy
• Monitor inventory to ensure positive flow
• Travel to meet vendors and suppliers as necessary
• Assist with establishing, organizing & maintaining inventory
• Follow engineering guidance, orders, and drawings
• Develop understanding of how disciplines work together
