Job summary

KIHOMAC in Byron, GA is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to analyze drawings and data, create and consolidate Bills of Materials, and source reliable vendors. You will coordinate with project teams to define procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing procurement, proven vendor negotiation skills, experience with JobBoss or similar ERP, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required in management or technical/scientific discipline.
• 10+ years of professional experience in procurement/manufacturing.
• Proven experience working with vendors and procuring materials.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings/blueprints to determine supply needs.
• Create/Transcribe Bill of Materials (BoM) and consolidate BoMs.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers, such as price and lead times.
• Monitor inventory to ensure flow of goods remains positive.
• Coordinate with project teams to define procurement requirements.
• Prepare cost-benefit analyses and supplier quotes for review.
