Avid Bioservices, Inc. in California is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing lifecycle, optimize costs, and ensure supply continuity across direct and indirect categories.

You will advise stakeholders and build resilient supplier networks to support production and operations. This full-time onsite role in Tustin combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, driving MSAs, SOWs, and KPI tracking, while partnering with MSAT, AP, and executives to achieve multi-year

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5 to 8+ years of indirect/direct corporate procurement or category management experience.
• Experience with ERP / inventory control systems required; Dynamics D365 experience preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

Responsabilités

• Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Negotiate preferred/discount pricing or contract pricing with vendors.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve disputes or claims.
• Partners with AP to resolve vendor invoice issues.
• Partners with MSAT to drive second sourcing activities for raw materials.
• Drive sourcing strategies for raw materials and core engineering components to ensure milestones are met.
• Draft and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and SLAs.
