Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Senior Specialist, Procurement to manage assigned commodities, create PO packages, and lead supplier negotiations. The role emphasizes cost reduction and supplier relationship management to support production in a rigorous aerospace environment.

On-site positions in Millersville MD, Northampton MA, or Anaheim, CA with a 9/80 schedule. Strong background in ERP buying, FAR compliance, and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 6+ years in purchasing in an ERP-driven environment.
• Strong negotiation and contract experience; terms and conditions knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; engineering documentation understanding.
• Ability to work effectively in a digital/remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Procure and manage assigned commodities to enable production; issue PO and cost analysis.
• Create PO packages with Price Analysis, Justification, PPV, etc.
• Lead supplier negotiations and supplier selection.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and manage supplier relationships.
• Provide training to Procurement Agents.
• Ensure inventory integrity in the MRP database.
• Maintain compliance with FAR and company policies.
